I have so many slides from my grandfather taken from this camera, the sad part is I would love to get it working again, but no camera shop I can find will even try to repair it… I do just the heft of the camera, and how it feels so solid and the smell of the leather is just so transporting back in time…

Should your website have a flash intro… Really?
When Flash first landed on the World Wide Web (we still called it that back in those days) it was very popular and it became common for websites that wanted to look %u201Ccool%u201D to load a Flash animation when a visitor arrived at the site. The standard method was to force the user to sit through this animation to convince them of how cool you were.
Ok really you want to do this? Please no. Your site should be about doing things not showing things…
As I work more and more both with my own photographs as well as working mostly for a company that does high end photographer support, I find images like this more and more compelling. The shots have a fun candid appeal that is often missing from the rest of the shoots
HP Releases iPhone Versions of Classic Calculators
Interesting foray into iPhone development for HP. Check out the comments for raves and requests from calculator nerds.
I still have my HP-15c on my desk and use it almost every day. I am so much faster and more efficient in RPN. The amazing thing is that the price of a new iphone and this app is not so far off from the price for this calculator when it first came out…. (and is likely less then it would cost you on eBay today)
