Would someone create a Mail.app plugin to implement :scare: kill this thread1 :/scare: functionality?

That would be grreeeeaaaaat.

  1. Basically, auto-delete (or create filters to auto-delete) all future messages by In-Reply-To headers (and possibly References headers, now exactly sure how it all works). [back]

Yea for this one, there is nothing more annoying then a flaim baiting wank getting a list all riled up. One of my favorite links to send these people is Help Vampires by Amy Hoy

Of course, getting legitimate users to remember the key code can be a bit of a challenge, so it’s probably best to put a sign on the door that tells them what the key code is. But of course, that presents a security problem with the aforementioned riffraff, so it’s probably best not do that. Or, one could just do both …
