Humanized Enso

Humanized Enso:

Enso is a launcher — much like Launchbar or Quicksilver on the Mac. Although Enso has some more tricks up its sleeve. Enso has a nice style about it too. It’s tastefully executed.

… snip …

To start Enso comes in two parts: Launcher and Words. You can use them together or separately. Walt Mossberg wrote it up today in The Wall Street Journal. Not a bad way to launch.

It is cool and has some nice things, I like the calculate in place, smart. I bet one gets a hooked on that as I did on launchbar

Moon Lander:

Ben Nolan (Behaviour.js) has whipped up some Ajax Fu to create a simple Moon Lander using Prototype and the Canvas tag.

Take a peak at the game code to see how elegantly Ben did this.

Who said JavaScript is hard?

Moon Lander

Heck it’s even fun to play with… refresh if you die, bet the astronauts would of liked that..

1962 VW bus gutted, filled with giant hot rod engine

1962 VW bus gutted, filled with giant hot rod engine:

Our view has always been, if you aren’t doing your best to save on gas for monetary and / or environmentalist purposes, you might as well go the other way and burn as much of the dang stuff as you can. Along those lines, and also adhering to the lines of ‘holy frick’ and ’so sweet,’ is Ken Prather’s 1962 Volkswagen Bus, which features a mid-engine 355 small-block and a 7-inch chop job, after serving as a hippie van in a former life. This once mini-RV has been reduced to a two-seat hot rod monstrosity, complete with a steel rollcage, drag seats and a VW flower vase made of billet aluminum. Suicide doors, 10 mpg, drag parachute — count us in. Eat our dust, Mystery Mobile.

Nice Bus!

Tweet Tweet:

There’s a new site that’s been getting really popular lately called Twitter. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s basically a status message, like IM, but actually usable.

You can see what I am up to if I add you as a friend (I’m keeping my tweets private for now, part of how I am experimenting. You can see me at my profile and add me as a friend and maybe if I know you I’ll add you too.

It’s addictive to see what people you know and respect are up too.
