Met with an interesting group last night, a local Web Standards Group, though the topics ranged quite a bit it seems like an bunch of people with some good ideas to share.

I have a feeling that ‘face’ and I were a little disruptive to the normal flow of the group since we have a fairly strong ‘online’ friendship that goes way back. Always interesting to meet people in ‘meat space’ (what a funny term). All in all a good group, since I have an interest in working with web standards in real world projects, and that is going to have value for me and hopefully something that I can bring to the group.
